The Spanish Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs granted the  CINVE Contest the title of "Officially Recognized Contest" after a proposal from the Regional  Government Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of the junta of Andalusia

 What makes CINVE different from all other major international Contest is the composition of its panel of Judges, which will mainly include wine and spirits importers, marketers, restaurateurs, sommeliers, journalists and opinion leaders under the direction of a great oenology expert

The University of Seville is responsible for the preparation and classification of samples and handling the Contest records and results through its Department of Biochemistry, Bromatology and Toxicology Nutrition and Bromatology Area
